However, some vampire factions are breaking that truce, leading to infighting among their own kind—not to mention, all-out war between humans and vampires. Night Teeth starts off innocently enough, with college student Benny (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.) agreeing to fill in for his half-brother Jay (Raúl Castillo) as a chauffeur. Except, unbeknownst to Benny, Jay is a secret vampire hunter who’s working to rescue his girlfriend, Maria (Ash Santos), who’s been kidnapped by Victor (Alfie Allen), the undead bloodsuckers’ leader. While working his chauffeur shift, Benny picks up two beautiful young women, Blaire and Zoe (Debby Ryanand Lucy Fry), who planned on bringing Jay back to their boss, Victor. The girls have no idea that Benny is not Jay, while Benny has no idea that the girls are vampires. Blaire and Zoe take Benny hostage and force him to drive them all around Los Angeles to slay other vampires who are getting in Victor’s way so he can take over as, essentially, a vampire mob boss. Along the way, Benny develops a crush on Blaire. The ending of Night Teeth (more on that below) establishes some solid ground for a follow-up film, but right now, it’s unclear whether that will come to pass. What happens in the Night Teeth ending?
The ending of Night Teeth has struck some viewers as, let’s say, a little convoluted. Here’s the gist: Despite Blaire’s insistence, Benny follows Blaire and Zoe into their boss Victor’s house, where Benny finds a bunch of humans in glass cages with their blood being pumped out in tubes—one of which is Benny’s own brother, Jay, a vampire hunter. Benny urges Victor to take him instead of Jay, but Victor just wants Benny dead. Zoe is about to try to kill Benny when Blaire intervenes, leading Zoe to stab Blaire. Victor and Zoe are close to killing Blaire, but just before they get the opportunity, Benny uses his keys to start his car, where he’d left a rock on the gas pedal. The car surges into the building, flooding it with sunlight that kills Zoe immediately. Benny and Victor fight, and Victor bites Benny. Jay, now freed, joins in the melee and wrestles Victor into the sunlight, where Victor burns and dies for good. Benny, slowly dying of his bite, is saved when Blaire lets him suck her blood and vice versa, thus turning him into a vampire and (somewhat?) saving his life. Later, we see Benny wake up at sunset and meet Jay for tacos. Jay issues a stern warning to Benny that nothing will ever be the same for them: “Everyone is going to have to pick a side. Don’t forget where you came from.” In the film’s final shot, we see Benny and Blaire cruise off together.
Will there be a Night Teeth 2?
The ending of Night Teeth leaves room for a sequel that may focus on Jay and his crew hunting vampires with the Night Legion—as well as the challenges that will present in his relationship with Benny, who’s now a vampire. A Night Teeth 2 could also dive into how Benny adapts to “life” as a vampire with Blaire, including how they’ll adjust to other vampire gang bosses putting prices on their heads for the havoc wreaked in the original Night Teeth. We’re looking at a potential war not just between humans and vampires, but also at a lot of potential infighting between vampire factions. For his part, Lendeborg has said he would love to return to the franchise and sink his teeth into playing a vampire. “I hope there’s a sequel. What’s gonna happen in the second one, man, maybe just more closure? You know, I feel like it definitely is a coming-of-age story, as well as a horror thriller,” he told Distractify. “So it’s like, what does Benny do now that he has more power, now that he has more foresight on what’s happening in the world? You know, what does he do with his turn on top?”
Who will be in the Night Teeth 2 cast?
Megan Fox, Sydney Sweeney, Allen and Fry’s characters are killed in Night Teeth, so we likely won’t see them return for Night Teeth 2 unless they’re featured in flashback sequences. Though we don’t see Rocko die explicitly, it’s implied that he didn’t survive, which means Alexander Ludwig likely also won’t reprise his role. Though Victor tells Jay that Maria is dead, there’s a strong possibility that he’s lying, which means we may see Santos return as well. That leaves us with a potential Night Teeth 2 main cast of:

Night Teeth 2 doesn’t have a release date yet, but if it’s helmed by the same director, Adam Randall, we may need a little more time: He’s been tapped to direct another horror movie for Paramount called Curfew, Deadlinehas reported. Randall has said of the project, “This is a fun monster movie that harks back to Amblin movies of yore. There is an intriguing conflict between the teenage girl and the older generations but it also has the thrills and action of a monster movie. It’s a great script.”
