Washington starred as crisis-management expert Olivia Pope, alongside Lowes’ character, Quinn Perkins, one of Olivia’s staff members with a complicated past. Lowes also starred in the recent Netflix miniseries Inventing Anna, where she portrayed real-life persona Rachel DeLoache. Washington further celebrated Lowe’s birthday with a special tribute on her TikTok account, where she posted a throwback clip of the actress’ on-screen characters having a sweet heart-to-heart moment on Scandal. “Tag the QP [Quinn Perkins] to you [Olivia Pope],” Washington captioned the clip, prompting her Scandal fans to rehash their obsession with the show in the comments. “One of my most favorite shows!!!” one user commented. “We miss olivia pope 😩” another wrote. “I need a reboot 🥰,” someone else added.
