What is The Christmas Farm about?
In The Christmas Farm, Jill Wagner plays Janie, a rising marketing executive living in the big city—New York City, to be exact. Janie returns to her hometown of Woodland Falls after her great-uncle Randall dies. Janie is not prepared for the gift Randall has bestowed to his last living relative: the family homestead, Janie’s childhood home. While not immediately sure what to do with a fully functioning farm, Janie agrees to honor Randall’s final request to plan and host Woodland Falls’ annual Winter Wonderland as Randall’s gift to his community. Randall has even arranged for his farmhand, Dylan (Cameron Mathison) to help at the event, which is being held in the farm’s sprawling barn. Aware that her Manhattan boyfriend is anxious for her to return to the city so the pair can jet off to a previously planned holiday on the beach, Janie begins to feel an unexpected emotional tug about living life in a more authentic, meaningful way. Wagner also serves as one of the executive producers on the project.

Neither Jill Wagner nor Cameron Mathison have signed deals with GAC Family or Hallmark Channel. Both actors have previously appeared on both networks. Mathison as the longtime host of Hallmark’s Home and Family and Wagner as the star of the network’s popular Mystery 101 franchise.
What other projects is Jill Wagner involved in?
Wagner as her hands full with not only filming various holidays movies, but also with her involvement in Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming series, Lioness. Wagner will appear in the series while also serving as an executive producer. Lioness is a fact-based drama series about two agents in a U.S. undercover female operative program. Zoe Saldana is attached to star with Nicole Kidman serving as one of the executive producers.
What other Christmas movies are on the GAC Family holiday schedule?
No official list of Christmas movies has been announced by GAC Family, but The Christmas Farm will join CateringChristmas which stars Daniel Lissing and Merritt Patterson. Catering Christmas began filming in early April and has since completed principal photography.

All I see on GAC Family are old sitcoms. When will GAC Family have more movies?
One of the biggest complaints about GAC Family is that it doesn’t have enough original movies. The newly rebranded network is working hard but has yet to build a library of original films. They are encouraging viewers be patient! We hope to see new content soon. GAC Family will be airing encore presentations of their fan-favorite Christmas movies each Saturday throughout May and June.
