In a new video shared to TikTok on Tuesday, the parents of a golden doodle named Daisy showed off their sneaky method, which involves tricking their dog into thinking she’s getting away with stealing some human food. The person holding the pill—which appears to be hidden inside a dog treat—pretends to be cutting up human food in the video before “accidentally” dropping the disguised pill into the floor and yelling, “Oh no!” Naturally, the dog rushes to get the fallen food and quickly devours the treat-wrapped pill, while the parents still pretend she got away with swiping some table food. “Oh Daisy you got it,” one person says in the video, while the person filming the video chimes in, “Aw, Dais,” along with a forged “Ugh” sound at the end. The video, which was captioned “🤔🤔🤔 outsmarted?” completely blew up after collecting over 300K likes and 16K shares. Other dog owners in the comments appeared to be impressed by the pill trick, with one person writing, “As a dog trainer of 17 years, I have never seen something so impeccable.” “She has to be convinced she’s committing a crime to take her pill? That’s hysterical 😂,” another user wrote, prompting a response from Daisy’s parents, who replied: “Absolutely.
